Board Books Needed

Hello there! Last week I wrote about The Joyful Life Library, here. Today in support of that project I'm asking for board books-
Julie, The Child Life Specialist and I
A few weeks ago now, I went to our local hospital to meet Julie. Julie is The Child Life Specialist I contacted last spring to coordinate donations for the PICU through The Joyful Life Library.
Books were donated first through a blog sponsored Book Drive. Julie couldn't believe it. She just couldn't believe it when books started arriving in heaps! She sent a picture to me...
Exciting!! Soon she was able to sort them onto shelves. Then Julie wanted a way to acknowledge who the books were from-
A 'Joyful Life Library' label was printed and a volunteer attached it
 to each book-
It reads, Please enjoy this book in honor of Samuel Hamilton's Joyful Life.
You can read more here about Samuel's precious life.
And now it is our turn to give back. Here is the deal. As I spoke with Julie she requested a need. With the winter months coming PICU admissions will increase. Children 3 and under will be
the average age of the child admitted.
All 7 of the PICU's The Joyful Life Library supports needs
board books for these precious babies.

It is easy.
There are Amazon links set up for each hospital and the board books are already listed.
It's just a few clicks and the books are shipped directly to the hospital of your choice...
To donate click on the hospital of your choice from this list:
Cardon
Diamond
Miller
CHOC
Rady
Riley
Doernbecher
After  you donate if you would so kindly come back and leave a comment with the name of the hospital the donation was made to...
(anonymous comments totally accepted... I get it.)

(each hospital has at least 25 board books listed;
that should give each hospital a great start to the winter months!)

If you would like to do more visit Heather's page 'get involved', here and learn about all the different ways you too can get involved.

Thank you for your help!

Kisses,

Just-so-you-know
I LOVE this project. And I love that you will donate.
So, a give away:

  1. What a GREAT opportunity. Thanks so much for sharing it with everyone. My mom sent books to Oregon and Dean and I sent a couple of books to each of the hospitals. Praying that the Lord uses these books as a comfort to many little ones and their families! Thanks again for sharing!
